Shipping

In an effort to lower the shipping costs, The Blen Dor Store calculates shipping charges using the U.S Postal Service First Class Mail option.  The Blen Dor Store tries to make the shipping charges match what the carrier charges us.  The Blen Dor Store does not consider shipping a “profit center”.

Extra charges are never added after the order is submitted – what you agree to pay when you placed the order is what you will be charged.

Please allow 24 hours for your order to process.  Orders placed by noon Eastern Standard Time usually ship the same day, but is not guaranteed that an order will ship the same day it is placed.  Orders are not shipped on weekends.  The customer is responsible for ensuring that the US Postal Service, Fedex, UPS and /or any other carrier used, can deliver to the specified shipping address.

A Note on International Shipping: 

I have listed the economy - USPS First Class Mail International shipping in an attempted to provide a lower cost option for International shipping.  If you choose to have your package shipped by USPS First Class Mail International there is no insurance option.  Also the US Post Office’s approximate time for delivery states that it varies.  That could mean, that your package might be in transit for a few days to 6 or 8 weeks or more.  If the package is lost there is no recourse, the USPS will not check into lost First Class Mail International.  The only help I could give you is the receipt number and the Customs Form number that would have our names and addresses on it alone with the date of mailing, etc.   Please keep this in mind when choosing to use the USPS First Class Mail International option. 

The USPS Priority Mail International Small Flat Rate service does not have an insurance option. The estimated delivery time is 6 – 10 days or more.

 The USPS Priority Mail International includes automatic indemnity coverage for uninsured parcels.  Coverage is calculated based on the weight of the parcel or the value of the contents of the parcel, whichever is less.  There is an added cost to insure the item in full. The estimated delivery time is 6 – 10 days.

International Buyers

Please Note - Customs Duty and Taxes:

The customer is responsible for any custom’s duty and or any tax incurred with the sale.  The customer should also be aware of the fact that if there are any duty or taxes owed, the item could be held at customs or the delivering service company until the duty and or the taxes are paid.  To avoid surprises, please contact your local customs office before placing an order to ask what charges may apply.

• Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
• Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
• These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
• We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as ‘gifts’ - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

Please use caution when ordering, even thought our return policies apply equally to US and international orders, shipping international returns can be expensive.
